What is the Gospel?
- Man is a sinner and under the penalty of sin.
- Christ died to pay the penalty of man's sin.
- One must recognize that he is a sinner,
- repent of his sin, and
- Trust Christ to pay sin's penalty.
A person has only two choices; either he bears the penalty of his own sin, or he trusts Christ to pay sin's penalty.
