I’m not a fan of buying cards that someone else has written. My words are simple, they don’t have rhythm nor rhyme, not eloquent, nor did they come from some one else’s pin (or word processor).
Brenda, 39 years ago you and I were married on July 31st. I’m very thankful to the Lord for giving me a wife who truly is a virtuous woman. You are a true helpmeet in every since of the word.
If I were looking for a Virtuous woman as seen in Proverbs 31, I would look to you. Thank you for the years of love, devotion, and support you have given me over these 39 years. As we look around us today, we are fulfilled when we see our daughter, Carman, her husband, Doug, and our 5 grandchildren. Surely, the Lord has been good to us since that day we became husband and wife.
Some may not know that our daughter, Carman, was born on our first wedding anniversary, which was a great gift from the Lord. Today we plan to spend time with our daughter and grandchildren, what could be better than that?
I love you and I hope we’ll have many more years together.
